SCA Employment Opportunities within the Seattle Cannabis Community 
SCA is a trade association not an employment agency, however we understand the value of creating jobs to stimulate Seattle’s economy.  Our intent is to list those positions we are made aware of by our members and help those involved in the Seattle cannabis community find employment. Our agreement is to collect email responses and route them to our members.   The following is a list of job positions being considered by SCA members.

New Collective looking for Workers.                                                         We are a new collective looking for members/workers [Budtender, Delivery Driver, Office Manger, Receptionist]. All members/workers will be compensated for their time based upon experience. Our Collective specializes in Delivery Service we are non-profit collective and in full compliance with all applicable laws and statutes within the state of Washington. We will also need to verify your medical status and need a copy of your recommendation and a copy of your valid WA DL or ID. Information must be verifiable. Do you have budtending experience?                                                       We are a collective looking for the right person to fill our budtending positions [3 positions]. We not only need somebody with budtending experience but knowledge of strains, cloning, and anything a patient may ask you. Need Assistant.                                                                                   Need assistant to help with marketing/sales, web, general office work. I'm looking for sales/marketing girl to set up meetings, make calls, visit other collectives with me in Seattle area. Attend Festivals and trade show promoting our line of cannabis products. Mobile Delivery Service is hiring.                                                             We are a very small medical cannabis delivery cooperative providing medicine to the greater Seattle area. We are seeking to expand our operations. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person. 4 Position opened for immediate hiring of: Bud Tender / Office Person / Receptionist / Driver. Looking to hire medical cannabis patients.                                               SCA is looking For a Writer with experience in writing about the practical uses of cannabis and alternative medicine.  Our goal is to educate the public about alternative medicine, health, and cannabis. We are seeking individuals with the following skills:
1) Excellent critical writing skills.
2) Keeps up with current cannabis news, alternative medicines, health and related politics.
3) Writes with style and personality
4) Able to provide weekly articles for the website regarding current cannabis news.

SCA is looking for a technician
SCA is looking for a Cannabis Quality Control GC Technician who can conduct cannabis testing for our members. Familiarity with GC systems, cannabis inspection, performing routine industrial analyses and complicated separations is required. Knowledge of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Bacteriological Analytical Manual (BAM), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) methods is a plus. Ability to act independently and write analytical reports is a must. In this position you will also be responsible for SCA GC technician training. Send resume and a brief description of your scientific background and training. This position is a field position which requires the ability to lift 48 pounds and have your own vehicle. SCA will provide cellular phone and laptop computer.
