“Seattle Cannabis Association [SCA] is offering a preferred way of conducting business and demonstrating compliance within Seattle’s Cannabis community and it is completely transparent, seamless and cost efficient. SCA members are “willing and able to give an honest accounting”. We  combine our stakeholders [SCA members and their patients, as well as community officials] interest and perspectives in fulfilling the public trust, thus we strive to ensure our members are accountable in all their business transactions”.

Seattle Cannabis Association  does not duplicate any efforts by other “associations” either at the state, national or trade levels.  Our primary concern is the Seattle Cannabis community and what is being done on the local level. Federal guidelines, State regulations....”let’s focus on local standards, expectations and enforcement [Jobs, Jobs, Jobs].  This is true self-governance [self-regulation] based upon community values, proven standards, “best practices” and enforcement by the true gatekeepers...Seattle’s business leaders.

Quality. Integrity. Knowledge. Honesty. Accountability  equal Self-Governance.

The mission of Seattle Cannabis Association [SCA], a membership-based non-profit trade association is to:

Represent the interests of SCA members and the Seattle Cannabis community;

Ensure SCA members provide safe access to medical grade cannabis to qualifying patients;

Demonstrate SCA members  ability to govern themselves through quality cannabis standards and “Best Practices” development,  implementation and monitoring;

Provide SCA member audit services  and cannabis testing to ensure compliance with Washington State, City of Seattle local laws and SCA member expectations;

Encourage the collaboration between SCA members, qualified cannabis patients, healthcare providers,  and associated cannabis related businesses; and

Foster a “working relationship” with Washington State, City of Seattle officials and local law enforcement in achieving mutually agreed upon goals, based upon SCA members, their patients and Seattle community values.
